Low-cost recruiting by State Farm’s Law Department through Google Adwords

At the top of my Gmail on Feb. 16th was a Google ad by the Law Department of State Farm! They are recruiting lawyers. When I clicked through, I read:

Legal / Litigation

Our mission is to provide high quality, consistent, practical, creative, timely, and cost-effective legal service to assist State Farm in meeting its operational and public policy goals.

State Farm’s Corporate Law Department is comprised of a team of lawyers who provide a full range of legal services to the Company’s Corporate Headquarters and 13 Zones.

In addition, more than 500 attorneys, along with legal secretaries and paralegal support staff, serve in State Farm’s in-house Claim Litigation Counsel departments across the country. [RWM “staff counsel”]

State Farm’s legal practice is comprised of two sections:
Litigation and Corporate Counseling and Insurance Counseling
Financial Services and Legislative/Regulatory
